Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park Merrimack NH's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park offering walking paths and picnic spots, along with baseball fields and a playground.

Nice and shady and a lovely walk through the forest with a story book to follow the path. Very buggy though and sticky sap on the equipment
This park contains a playground and a flat hiking trail that takes about ten minutes round trip. The trail parallels the lake and is very scenic. You rarely see people past the playground. There's a picnic table at the far end of the trail.
Bring bug spray for mosquitoes. Nice and local, park was great. The town library even get in on the fun with a children's story you can read along the trail.
