Confirmed from Ponemah Bog trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ponemah Bog trailhead
The first thing that comes up when searching this park should be no pets allowed. The park is absolutely stunning well preserved and unique a 5 car parking lot makes sense if 90% of possible hikers can't come. Edit okay this place is awesome but still needs better online clarification DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Great board walk for bird and wild life seeing. Boards walk is short enough and safe for toddlers and any child capable of walking and exploring nature. It has a few benches along the entire loop. Perfect for visiting all year around. Parking lot can fit at least 10 cars easily.
Awesome board walk!!! I love walking here. Summer time is peak season and there is plenty of native swamp plants and animals to be sighted!
Wonderful, interesting and well taken care of trail! A unique experience in all seasons.
