Kids and I picnic on the creek often. It is so beautiful, peaceful, and safe. Walking trail is paved, so it's easy to walk and bike.
This is a quiet and peaceful place to go to walk or just sit by the creek and relax. Down side is the out of control development being allowed that is crowding the trails making the Greenway less green. And less enjoyable. But the city is raking in the tax dollars. Guess that's what matters most to the mayor.
Great walk! We started at the municipal park and walked the full 3.5 miles, then back. Only a few hills along the way. Especially loved the sections right along the creek. Several busy street crossings, but no problem. Plenty of porta potties for convenience.
Perfect Greenway access to get right to Honey Run Creek. If you turn right at the point when entering the greenway, the trail is pretty flat, gentle walk. Perfect for little kids on bikes with training wheels or a non-strenuous stroll.
