Confirmed from White House Municipal Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational playground area featuring ball fields, plus basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.
What runners say about White House Municipal Park
“The park is always clean and there are several picnic tables available.”
There is a wonderful, all inclusive playground!! Even children that may need to be in a wheelchair can play on the equipment...they can wheel right up! There are lots of fields and walking trails and a few sheltered picnic areas, which you can rent out from the city.
White House Municipal Park truly has something for everyone! There’s a dog park, disc golf, basketball, football, and softball, plus two playgrounds and a walking trail that families love. In the summer, the Wednesday night farmers market is such a fun community tradition.
A fun place to take the kids for a few hours. There are two playgrounds but our kids always like the blue and green one. There’s covered picnic tables, athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts, walking paths, and a disc golf course.
Very nice park. Lots of ball fields, 2 big playgrounds, 2 single basketball courts, 1 mile trail walk (which isn't bad at all, lots of nature to see), they even have a drink machine where the shelters are at the playground (convenient, if you forgot drinks) and tennis courts. Really huge park!!
Trail conditions & character
“Disc golf course has a nice walking track, plenty of parking for the games.”
“Some advice for parents: the bathrooms in the first ball fields closest to the playgrounds are typically unlocked for the public to use during the day.”
