Confirmed from Village Green Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean, serene park featuring play areas, basketball courts and a garden.

This is a nice park! I come here for the dog park. The dog park is separated in half for small and large dogs. It’s maintained well, and there are dog waste stations on both sides. There’s also a nice paved walking path! The one thing it needs is more dogs!
I live in Lumberton and usually take my dog to the dog park there. They put in a concrete walkway that is nice to get your morning walk in. During the summer, they bring food trucks in every other Friday, and it's just a nice open space to enjoy being outside.
Awesome park, open space, basketball nets, dog park and playground for the kiddos. It also has a walking path to do some laps. The recent day I went the weather was beautiful and there were a ton of people!
Great place to walk your dog or let the kids play on the playground. Kinda wish the small dog park was the same size as the large dog park, though.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
