Confirmed from Mill Dam Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground (some claim it needs TLC) and basketball courts.
What runners say about Mill Dam Park
“The fisherman are friendly, and clean up after themsleves.”
“The dam provides a nice roar of water to calm nerves and drown out the normal noise of life.”
The park has 2 sections and a small dam. The pedestrian bridge is a nice spot to take pictures upstream and downstream. The dam provides a nice roar of water to calm nerves and drown out the normal noise of life. A small trail near the stream provides additional calmness. The grounds were well kept and clean.
Great park for sitting on a bench or sitting at a picnic table. Theres basketball courts, water to fish in, baseball fields, places to walk. My only complaint is that theres not a lot of paved paths for walking so when its wet you get wet.
Lots of fun to walk the entire park. There's a floating board walk on the lake. And a nice scenic walk through the village. There are plaques to commemorate the history of the mill, including alot of early American history.
Beautiful park with a nice new playground and pavilion. There are plenty of fishing spots along the creek. Parking is spacious and open. The paved walking path around the park is great for stretching the legs.
