Confirmed from Village Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved park offering sports fields, a playground and walking trails.
What runners say about Village Park
“All the equipment, the walking trails, benches and facilities are new or well-maintained.”
“Beautiful beautiful park!”
Although the park itself is currently under construction (June 2020) I love this place. My family lives right behind Village Park & when I come up from CT to visit this is the place I go to for my morning power walks. I love it & I am looking forward to seeing the completed renovations.
Very nice sports fields. Excellent walking/running trail. New basketball courts and a small, but enjoyable playground.
This park is such a wonderful addition to the community. All the equipment, the walking trails, benches and facilities are new or well-maintained. The architecture and the design of the park respects and integrates beautifully with the surrounding land and existing neighborhoods.
Beautiful beautiful park! It continues to get better and better every month year and season. Walking trails are always clear, there is ample parking, there is very little debris scattered about as people clearly take very good care of this property in our community and so does the township.
Trail conditions & character

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
