Confirmed from Vincent Bluff State Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Natural area known for hiking, picnicking, and scenic views.
What runners say about Vincent Bluff State Preserve
“Small park, but beautiful views for a quick 5 to 10 minute hike up the hill.”
Small park, but beautiful views for a quick 5 to 10 minute hike up the hill. The trail is narrow, check for ticks. Sunrise and sunset the views are extra special. Picnic table at entrance in the shade is a good bonus.
This is a great place for a scenic walk ! It has a nice trail ,easy parking great for all ages and once you get to the top you can see council bluffs from several different directions .I highly recommend going here ..tons of info about this place is located at the beginning of the trail ..
Loess hills baby. Smaller scale though. This place is near the edge of town. No problem finding it. Small parking area. Playground. Small picnic table. Information on site. Trail is a beaten path. Narrow and nearly straight up. Good views overlooking the streets and houses. Definitely not for handicapped.
Great hike, only dropped one star because of the trail randomly stopping in a tree-filled area that you can’t get through. My dog Odie loved it though
