Confirmed from Vincent Lugo Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Athletic fields, picnic tables, trails & a playground featured in San Gabriel's largest city park.

A truly one of a kind park! You may have heard about the many wonderful ceramic sculptures here and may be confused as you pull into the parking lot. Thee is a path just to the right of the baseball field that will bring you right to it!

THIS IS THE OLDSCHOOL PLAYGROUND YOU"VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! We were so excited, even the adults, to go flying down a metal slide shaped like a fish! The Sealife part is full of imagination. The new playground has great climbing structures. The kids love it! Loads of shade for those of us who aren't a fan of the sun.
A welcome break for residents that is just a short walk away from where we are staying over Thanksgiving week. Vincent Lugo Park is a great pocket park for all ages. There is exercise equipment, picnic areas, and children's play area. Very family friendly and relaxing with all the greenery.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
