Confirmed from Virgil Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Virgil Park
“Nice park with clean restrooms, outdoor exercise equipment, a playground, and walking paths.”
Awesome little park in Brownsburg that sits along the B&O Trail. I love the nature concept and design of this park. It’s a great addition to the community and hosts lots of neat amenities (see photos). The three workout machines (ages 13 and up) is a great addition to the park especially for parents.
Really nice park. Walking trails that connect to the B&O trail. Water features. Restrooms. Picnic area. Small playground. Very creative features and layout.
Today I drove past this small unfinished park and its really nice! There is a restroom, water fountain, covered shelter with electrical outlets, walking trail, jungle gym, adult exercise equipment and metal benches. It is still under construction but coming along.
Virgil is a great little stop right off the B&O trail. You'll find restrooms, water fountains with a bottle filler, a small playground with a water feature to keep the kids engaged, a small pavillion with a few tables and plenty of benches along the walking paths throughout the wetland areas.
