Confirmed from Williams Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground & a splash pad, plus a paved trail, basketball & wooded areas.
What runners say about Williams Park
“It was a well-maintained property; clean, spacious & lots of outdoor fun for kids (and kids at heart).”
“Enjoy a scenic walking trail that wraps around the park grounds, or let the little ones cool off in the fun-filled splash pad.”
“Also had a really cool splash pad with a lot of adventurous detail for kids of all ages 2 enjoyed it.”
This park has it all from a splash pad for kids to gazebos for parties. The best part for me though are the hiking trails. You start out on a paved path by the splash pad. Once you get onto the maple trail, you have many options. You can stay on the gravel path which is a very short hike.
I loved this park. Took my nephew to spend some time playing and hiking. I was really impressed with how adaptive the playground is. There are many options for differently abled children. And equipment for kids of all ages. I also loved the hiking trails.
We have visited several times. Play area is nice for kids and their trails are beautiful and easy enough to enjoy even with 4 rambunctious boys!
A fantastic park for the whole family! The kids will love the fully fenced playground, complete with security cameras for peace of mind. Enjoy a scenic walking trail that wraps around the park grounds, or let the little ones cool off in the fun-filled splash pad.

Plan your run at Williams Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
