Great place for an easy hike/walk. Way better as a park than a golf course in my opinion. Lots of birds and wildlife, several ponds, paved walkways
This park used to be a golf course. It has a number of hiking trails, we have done them all but we usually do the green trail, it’s the longest at a bit over 2.5 miles. There are a lot of wildflowers and other interesting vegetation along the trail.
One of my owl friends on our family walks. I miss Wakefield golf. Had some great times playing. It's not the same, but relaxing walks and nature is great to see.
Beautiful walking path on an abandoned golf course. In the process of being renovated. So happy they are using it for a park and not a development.
