Easy hike with an easy climb up, it’s certainly easier than finding parking! Beautiful hillsides covered with California Poppies and other flowers create unearthly colored hills.
Walker Canyon is absolutely gorgeous!! Even on this overcast day the wild flowers stood proud! Total, I would say the loop is about 5 miles or so, with many inclines. A moderate hike for sure. Easy to get to from the freeway as well.
I was excited to go see the super bloom happening at walker canyon and it definitely did not disappoint. I was able to go before the huge crowds started coming but there was still quite a bit of foot traffic.
Unbelievable flower blooms. Parked at Walker Canyon at 5:45 am close to the trail head on a Saturday.
