Confirmed from Waller Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Straightforward county park offering disc golf, picnic areas, playgrounds & sports courts & fields.
What runners say about Waller Park
“We were by a beautiful fountain and duck pond , I noticed they have pony rides and pickle ball and playgrounds, plenty of clean bathrooms and lots of space!”
“my favorite park in the area :) it’s cute and perfect and there are beautiful birds and plants near the pond.”
A well-kept park with something for most anyone. *Fun Fact, it is my understanding that this park used to be a zoo?* The main park feature is the disc golf course. There are many group sites for parties, playgrounds for kids, and just as many bathrooms.
Visited from the East Coast. We enjoy disc golf as onwe decided to give Waller Part a try. We went on a Saturday around noon- got stuck behind 3 groups of 5, so it was quite slow moving. We weren't in a rush and didn't want to skip holes so it was fine we just took our time.
This is a big park! It's very lovely. To big children's play areas. Lots of parking. The grounds are clean and well maintained. We had a great time playing around out here. Dog park, walking trail, tennis area, lots of outdoor grill areas, and a big pavilion. Will definitely return!
Waller park is a great place to have picnics. It offers 154 acres of multiple uses and wonderful walking spaces. Several playgrounds throughout the park plus Waller park has dog park for little and big dogs. Additionally.
