Confirmed from Walnut Creek Community Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I haven't been here in year's & I'm so glad I decided to! I use to come here often 13 year's ago & decided to bring my son for the first time in 6 year's & he loved every moment! There's different parts/paths to it all, but we generally go where the Temple is. I love seeing all the people who go, including kid's!

Not really sure why it’s called Walnut Creek Community Regional Park... I’ve always known it as Bonelli Park/Pudding Stone Lake 💦 anyways, I love this park! I proposed to my wife here!

★★★★★ — Adam , Jun 2019

I liked it a lot...it was just me and my dog the entire time walking the creek trail, but I'm sure it was because it was a Monday morning. I'm certain it gets busy on the weekend as it's easy to get to

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
