Confirmed from Walton Ferry Arboretum's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxing nature preserve with lake access and trails for walking, jogging and bird watching, plus trees and a butterfly garden.

I knew nothing if this place till exploring google maps and then checked it out! It's a lot larger than I originally thought and plenty of plant species, wildlife, and trails. Some right beside the lake, others through the woods to catch some shade on a sunny day
The Walton Ferry Arboretum Is a great place for a walk in Hendersonville. There are several paths to explore the site, including a lovely trail by Old Hickory Lake. We saw a couple of fisherman along the shore the day we visited.
Excellent little park very close to the city but feels like you are out in the woods. Multiple trails follow around the lake and cross several creeks. Lots of private little spots and quiet trails. Excellent location for some casual birding or a picnic.
This place is seriously peaceful and serene! I brought my best friend and we had a very nice walk together. Lots of beautiful trees, plants, and bushes. Many little trails to take that are off the paved walkway. Stunning view of the lake, and great little spot to relax and have peace.

“Went right after a rain storm so I wasn't able to walk the dirt trails as they were muddy, I will likely go back on a dryer day.”
