Confirmed from Walton Ranch Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Preserve featuring grassy hiking paths, plus cows, deer and birds.

Absolutelly loved this preserve💫! So happy it's open to the public to be able to walk and disconnect from the real world!! The space here is huge and there's so many trails to do. TAKE PICTURE OF THE SIGN ❗️ Excellent place to go with the family and explore.
Beautiful scenery, and a whole lot of land to explore! Maps are located by the parking, definitely grab one, very large area! Multiple hiking trails also paths for bike riders, and horse back riders. There's also roaming, wild cattle that can be admired.
Ive been to alot of preserves around here and this one is great as well. Its more of Praire for most of the main trail. Its beautiful. At first i was not too excited becuase of the openess and less of trail feel. But i grew to love it the deer and cows are often coming out to the field.
My husband and I visited yesterday. I am not sure where the area maps are located (we didn't see any). We thought we would hike the perimeter of the preserve, maybe 5 or 6 miles, but there were very few markers along the way.
