Confirmed from Ward Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ward Park
“We recently went there for a combine event and the facility was well maintained.”
“Always absolutely beautiful and peaceful.”
This cute park, is tucked away, in a neighborhood. Very safe place, to walk, jog, & exercise. They have exercise stations, throughout. Also, a playground, for the kiddies. So many birds.
This park is 1 mile away from my home. It is so large and beautiful. My son refuses to come back home even after spending hours in the park. It is so clean and well-taking care of by the City of Winter Park.
It is so relaxing, especially for people who love nature. They have a trail, bathrooms, kids area, and picnic with and without a gazebo. Well kept and clean.
Have always loved this park because of the bug climbing trees, huge area for the kids to run around in, and always having baseball games or events. Great pavilion for parties or just to have some lunch or snacks. Great for all ages.

- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
