Confirmed from Warren Dunes State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Beech & maple-forested park provides peaceful riverside hikes, picnic space & 311 acres of terrain.
What runners say about Warren Dunes State Park
“The campground is close to the beach, the campsites are a good size, and the bathrooms were clean!”
“The beach is huge, massive, and clean, and the water is typically clear and gorgeous.”
“The campground was quiet and relaxing.”
It's our favorite beach to go to. On the north end you can take your leashed dogs too. That end is not a busy. Great views and hiking trails add to the beauty.
Went to an area that was marked as a dog beach area... It was amazing, everyone there was very nice, the water was cool in some areas, and warm in others, we brought our English Springer and we had a wonderful time, the Springer had so much fun in the water, and when we left, he fell asleep within 10 minutes!
Campground was very clean. Bathrooms were spotless! I would be concerned about bugs in the summer due to so much standing water around the park Great opportunity to hike the dunes. Sunsets are legendary
Warren Dunes is one of my favorite places close by only an hour away. Beautiful scenery, hiking, and best of all the sunsets. Here is a few pictures from my last visit.
