Confirmed from Warren E. Fox Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve offering a boardwalk, hiking trails, and educational programs, plus picnic areas and a playground.
What runners say about Warren E. Fox Nature Center
“It's clean and a nice place to relax with family and take a nice walk in the woods and boardwalk over the woods.”
“What an AMAZING NATIONAL SCENIC & RECREATION RIVER Site!”
“Awesome playgrounds, bikes you can borrow, peaceful walks and an awesome nature center packed with display both kids and adults would like.”
Just an awesome place to visit. Many things to do there. From the Nature Center to the many trails and "boardwalk", it's a great place to visit. Update:. Lots of improvements at the park. While increasing the size of the Veterans Cemetery a true bike, walking, skating, etc, paved path was created.
It's located at the Atlantic County Park in Estelle Manor. Several well maintained hiking trails, bicycle trails, fishing area, kayak friendly....volleyball court in the summer. We love this park. Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery is also in the park.
In this building, is a myriad of information to the area, it has the "Passport stamps", park history information, and maps of the Great Egg Harbor & Pinelands River also a map of the Pine Barrens, there are also maps for bird/wildlife trails for Camden/Gloucester, Burlington & Atlantic Counties.
Beautiful jewel hidden in new jersey. Miles of trails for mountain biking, walking, horse riding. There is also a ramp to drop boats and jet skis A lot of activities that you can sign up for and even spots so you can have your own garden. Great place for outdoor activities.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
