Confirmed from Watersong Wild Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

WHAT AN AMAZING WILDLIFE PRESERVE! This place is amazing for a nice walk with family, friends or even by yourself. The loop around the preserve is about 1.45 miles long with a few turn outs into heavily wooded areas or views of the lake.

The Wildlife Pressure was suggested to us by a friend and I am glad we finally made time to come walk the trail. We come out to Midland and Odessa every few months and I have never seen so much greenery in the area! It is beautiful! They had ample signs about closing times and wildlife cautions.

Beautiful preserve, does not look like midland at all. Very well maintained and the trail is about 1.5 miles. Saw plenty of nature and they have a pond.

★★★★★ — Ana , Jun 2025

My favorite place in Midland now. Beautiful trails that make you feel like you're not even in West Texas! It's fun because you run into few people while you're there and the experience is really personal. Really cool nature trails with interesting landscapes. Clean environment as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
