Our kiddos love this park, especially the ducks!! It's an awesome place to enjoy fresh air and a great place to walk! Lots of people come out in the evenings when it's cooler.
This park has a Great walking path around the pond in the middle of the park. We were here mid-morning and spent an enjoyable hour going around on the path. There were several other people enjoying walks as well, but the path is wide and the park big enough that it didn't feel crowded.
Wadley-Barron Park is known by the locals as "the duck pond". It has a nice paved walking trail all the way around the pond which is full of turtles, ducks, fish and you'll even see some geese and herons. There is a small gazebo you can use for gatherings.
Stumbled upon this nice pond during a morning run, had no idea that this was here for the few years ive lived in midland and im happy I passed by. Seems like an excellent place for a morning walk with a lot of little critters you can see on the sides of the walkways and in the water itself.
