This is one of those places that's right in my own backyard so I tend to overlook it a lot of the time. The truth is though, it is a place that brings me so much peace and serenity. It's a great place to escape the hustle of life for a while and recharge.
Weetamoe Woods is a wonderful tract of land. Five trails meander through the woods, providing a peek at the past as well as several acres of beautiful spring time flora.
Our first trip here and it was beautiful! We can't wait to go back! Still trying to figure out the cellar holes. 🤷♀️ where we're from going on unmarked trails is frowned upon, but it appears here it might be necessary! Still beautiful! ((Oh, it could use a doggy bag dispenser and a garbage can....
