Get out there and see this hidden gem of a boardwalk footpath through the swampwalk before it disappears into the marsh forever. It is 13 years old, after all, and the wood is starting to rot, and it doesn't seem to be maintained like it was. I'm not sure why.
The Wenham trail could be considered part of a larger trail system that connects areas close to Boston to the periphery of Newburyport. While I have not traveled on all of these systems, they are operated in various municipalities and therefore, have different budgets allocated to their maintenance.
