Confirmed from Wesson Ranch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational green space featuring a children's playground, sports facilities & picnic sites.
What runners say about Wesson Ranch Park
“The bathrooms were destroyed ,so that means Parks and Rec didn't have people clean park bathrooms on the Sunday before Easter while many families were there.”
“This is a very beautiful park.”
“Nice big park with lots of green grass and some shade trees.”
Nice big park with lots of green grass and some shade trees. Plenty of area to find your own space. Next to a paved walking/biking trail. Basketball courts, a tall play structure for kids, and some cement picnic tables.
This is a very beautiful park. I like this park because its kept very clean and its very peaceful it has a playground for the kids and a big soccer field i just wish they had a basketball court even if it was a half court id go more often. I often walk my dog here because its nice and peaceful
Very well kept park. There are restrooms but not very clean when we've been there. The equipment is newer. I feel safe letting my kids run in this park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
