Confirmed from West Hill Dam's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean, well-maintained park featuring trails for walkers and mountain bikers, plus a lake beach.
What runners say about West Hill Dam
“Trails are well maintained (and well marked, which is sadly not common in many parks).”
“It starts out by the dam, where great views are to be had on the dike.”

“Amazing place for bike riding, dog walking, or exploring.”
A great place to walk and enjoy the views. In the fall, the colors are beautiful, but the summer can be buggy. Lots of people walk dogs here, and they provide poop bag and disposal stations at several locations. Water for your dogs too near their entrance.
This is a great place for walking and hiking the loop trails. I do the east and west woodland trails for about a 4 mile loop. The side trails like Lima and Oscar offer a nice diversion around the West river.
Very well maintained mountain bike trails with a good variety of terrain.
Absolutely gorgeous easy hiking area. Lots of wildlife and fun little areas to explore.
