Confirmed from West Side Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“It a beautiful park ,I go there almost everyday in the summer to walk.”

Nice quiet park during the morning hours. Watch a little league football 🏈 game. This park has a walking trail a football field and a running 🏃🏾‍♂️ track. The park is opened 24 hours.

Surrounded by not the greatest neighborhood but the people are nice enough, everyone is to themselves, the children play and make friends but as young as they were, they were cursing. Overall going after school and staying until 5:30 is recommended. My children had a great time, my youngest slept through it all.

I like to go here for a walk just to clear my head sometimes ..there's a lot of areas to walk, run or exercise in general. In fact many soccer games and football games happen daily ...makes for good entertainment when I'm taking a stroll.

The park is not so bad for the area..i tend to take my morning walks or shoot a lil hoop here..everyone is usually minding their own business and tending to their children..

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
