Confirmed from West Wetlands Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling riverfront park featuring playgrounds, multi-use trails, grassy areas for sports & a pond.

A beautiful park that's well maintained with a lovely pond full of happy ducks when we visited. The highlight though is absolutely the children's creative play area with an incredible huge castle play area that our toddler loved. It had so much to explore we could have spent hours and hours there!
West Wetlands Park is one of Yuma’s treasures, a wide stretch of green space that feels like a blessing in the desert. Set along the Colorado River, it brings together trails, ponds, and playgrounds in a way that makes it perfect for families, couples, or anyone just wanting a quiet walk under open skies.
Very nice drive through large park! LOVE the hummingbird garden! Lots of hummingbirds and quail!! Pleasant walk and also down by the Colorado River area. Spotted a Red-shouldered Hawk…watched it and saw another one…also their nest!
A beautiful sprawling park on the shores of the Colorado River near downtown Yuma. There are plenty of easy walking trails, bike paths, and covered picnic areas. We sat my the pond and watched the duck, geese, and egrets while eating lunch. Plenty for the kids to enjoy.
