Confirmed from Westmoreland Sanctuary's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded preserve featuring marked trails, plus a nature center and museum.

This place is gorgeous! We came in fall in mid October just in time to see the fall foliage and it is spectacular here. Beautiful high and low paths that are color coded and fairly easy to follow.
There is a small museum. You can get a map or just follow the signs on the trail. Greate experience. Beautiful views.
A small museum with snakes and all, various levels of trails, lotsa parking spots, right in the middle of civilization, several programs for kids run over the year!!! It can’t get any better!! Westmoreland sanctuary is the perfect spot for a nice relaxing escape!
Beautiful trail. Went on a Wednesday night at 5:30pm and the large parking lot was nearly empty. The well marked trails were a breeze to navigate. The Cole Nettles loop via Spruce Hill took just over an hour. Just don’t forget the insect repellent!

“5 mile Easy Loop, was a lovely little hike to the pond which has some benches and a dock, water was frozen over but melted on the surface.”
“Nice difficulty mix, mostly level to moderate slopes (I did about half the trails), for a day hike and over 8 miles of dedicated trails.”
“The Cole Nettles loop via Spruce Hill took just over an hour.”
