Confirmed from Wetland Loop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wetland Loop Trail
“If you run the full bison enclosure, about half is along the river, which is beautiful.”
Was more than I expected, I thought it was going to be barren with shrubs here and there but the river runs through there and there is an awesome little canyon carved out by the river
Easy trail, about 5 miles around. Mostly wooded but you'll feel the wind on the south stretch. Additional trail goes down to the river and under a railroad bridge with incredibly thought-provoking graffiti.
Excellent trail run for those who may not want too many hills. If you run the full bison enclosure, about half is along the river, which is beautiful. Nice little outcroppings to view the landscape along the way.
