Not so much of a park, yet. More of just a nature area. According to their website, Willamalane will be developing this area with new trails, boardwalks and a fishing pier. So far, they've really only completed the parking lot. It will be interesting to see what they accomplish in the next few years.
Great clean place to go for a walk or run. Awesome for bringing dogs, you could even play football or some other group sport in some areas on the trail. Lots of beautiful river access spots with awesome views if the Mckenzie.
The McKenzie Corridor is full of trails, parks, pull offs, nature at its best. Lots of hiking, resting, camping, wildlife, and photography opportunities!
Decent little walk along the river. The back half is close to the highway, making it less enjoyable, but there are a couple spots to let your dog drink and take a dip. Occasionally some unhoused folks, but generally safe.
