Confirmed from Wheeler Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small park featuring a roller hockey court, seasonal wading pool, playground & picnic area.
What runners say about Wheeler Park
“The park was very clean and well maintained, one of the better parks we have been to this season.”
“Beautiful park to take a liesure stroll, workout, brisk walk, play with kids, watch little league baseball/softball and a soccer game.”
“Cute park, lots of open space and shade.”
Beautiful park to take a liesure stroll, workout, brisk walk, play with kids, watch little league baseball/softball and a soccer game. Clean restrooms. Lots of grass and space. Great playground for young kids and benches for mommies and dads.
I have nothing negative to say about this good and beautiful sized park. The location of this park is pretty hidden, but it's a diamond in the dirt. I have been taking my 3 year old and 4 year old since they we're both less than 8 months, and I've loved the fact then and now, that it doesn't get too packed with…
Two playgrounds, basketball courts, baseball diamond. Opportunity for after school tutoring at park community building. Pickleball court in enclosed rink. 1 kilometer around the park and vista school makes for good running training. Soccer games in the evening. Restrooms, water fountains, wading pool in summer.
It is a really nice park for the kids to play in and to walk around/go for a run, but we saw a coyote last night around 9pm so beware if you're at this park after 8. I'm not sure if there are more around the area but I wouldn't be surprised just be careful with your kids and pets as well
