Confirmed from Higginbotham Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a jungle gym shaped like a train and climbing rocks, plus a sandbox and green space.

Nice park with playground and entrance to a steep hiking trail and an easy walking path alongside the edge of the mountain. A lot of friendly walkers on the pathway. Beautiful scenery.
This is such a peaceful place. Thompson Trail and Claremont loop are right by there. We walked the Thompson trail, which is about 3 miles up to the parking lot of the loop. A total 6-mile round trip. We did see a lot of fallen and uprooted trees from the recent winds.
Lovely park with a wide open grassy space. I wish it had picnic tables, though. It connects to a bike/walking path and also a hiking trail. Very nice.
