Confirmed from Whippoorwill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring hiking trails, creeks and a waterfall, plus birds and ponds.

“Great spot to get out in nature, walk the dog or chat with a friend.”
I took my first hike today at Whippoorwill Park. It was a magnificent outing. Started on Red trail, which is a moderate challenge, and returned on Blue trail. Trails are well marked and easy to follow. The scenery is interesting and makes for a superlative afternoon.
Very nice quiet and clean park. Friendly hikers and dog walkers. Nice little spot by a small makeshift waterfall with two benches to sit in front of the calming stream. There's also a bench right at the entrance with miscellaneous items that actually acts as a lost and found the community started.
Clean and interesting things to see. It is not a huge park, but big enough for a long walk by the trees. One tip: Season changes is the time you will get to see here amazing colors.
Quick trail for beginners or just to have a nice stroll. Nice area to take pics of nature and lovely birds around. Easy walk for children. Have a great hike.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
