Amazing trail that you can either make a short or long hike out of. Beautiful views from only a mile hike.
My first time taking this beautiful hike, well marked trails, rocky but well maintained, and beautiful views. My only wish was there’d been better info ahead of time that this specific trail doesn’t allow dogs. I’d hiked a good 30+ minutes before seeing a sign saying no dogs.
Perhaps one of the best and easily accessible places in San Diego County to see poppies in wet years. Would not have known about it had a great friend not have shared. Lots of mountain bikers but everyone gets along on this trail
Great trail that is well maintained and has areas for all fitness levels from relatively flat to very steep inclines.
