One of my favorite beach parks in Minnesota that I have been too. There are proper restrooms and showers, benches, playground, Not to mention connecting trails and super spacious parking lot. So on an average day, you shouldn't find it hard to get a spot.
A nice, small beach on a lovely medium-sized lake. It is the trail head for an excellent walk along the shore through a historic neighborhood all the way up to the town and it's marina. It was exactly what I was seeking as I wanted to walk after a full day of a business trip.
Small playground and beach next to boat launch. A nice spot. Geese are there a lot - watch the grass when walking! The bathrooms flush and were decently clean. Playground feels small for how many people go to this beach.
The trail is paved and well maintained. It goes for miles and miles. Great views of the lake on one side and beautiful architecture on the other. Even though it was 36F and sunny when I went there, it was enjoyable. I can imagine how nice it will be in a couple of weeks when it warms up. I'll return again, and again
