We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of White Cedar Swamp yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about White Cedar Swamp
Trails take you in between built up areas in between Main Syreet and Stony Hill. Surprisingly, you really feel like you a thousand miles from civilization. I've walked the trails in all seasons. Highly recommended for easy cross country skiing.
The parking is confusing. The trails are not marked well. A few cross roads weren't marked at all and if I didn't have my AllTrails app downloaded with the trails, I wouldn't have known which way to go. There were lovely views though. Not strenuous at all. Easy hike.
I had a really enjoyable visit to White Cedar Swamp. The trail was easy to follow and made for a relaxing walk, with plenty of peaceful scenery along the way. The out‑and‑back route was straightforward and well maintained, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a calm, accessible nature spot.
An absolutely beautiful little series of trails. Cannot count the number of times I stopped and just looked around me, trying to take it all in
