Confirmed from Fountain Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Lots of space for furry friends to run and play! Easy hiking trails around the park as well!!
Great place to socialize you pups. Lots of open space as well as wide shaded walking trails. Mostly all well behaved dogs during weekdays. I have seen some aggressive dogs and owners on the weekends but not common.
Great place to enjoy a bit of nature. Lots of trails to explore, large dog park with super, friendly patrons. The site hosts occasional festivals, concerts and fundraisers to keep the park going and growing.
Great park with a large open field and lots of trails to enjoy with your dog. There is a large collection of poop bags to help you out if you forgot one and in the warmer months there is running water for dogs to drink.
Trail conditions & character
“Great area to take your pup for a walk—no leash needed (though I always end up getting lost every time I go, lol).”
“All year big fields for kids to run in, an open dog run area, wooded trails and mild hills for winter sledding.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
