Confirmed from White Oak Creek Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded and shady recreation area with campsites, BBQ grills and a boat ramp.
What runners say about White Oak Creek Recreation Area
“Beautiful views with Lake large oversized bathrooms that are clean and pretty much bug free T-Mobile service works three bars tons of birds and Coons and Coons.”
“Beautiful park with pines and Hardwoods large spacious RV spots with firing BBQ Fickling and table and a big picnic table more back in spots with privacy.”
“Site 45 has no shade, by the water, a short distance to the bathhouse, concrete pad with gravel.”
“It is quiet and peaceful here during the week and the weekend starts today with the campground filling up, so we will see how it goes.”
The sites are very nice, easy enough to back into and level. The vibe is good, everyone was friendly, respectful, especially for holiday wknd. It rained most of the week, but park manages water well, with plenty of run off ditches into the lake.
We are into day 4 of our six night stay here at WOCRA. The park is easy to get into and out of. We were greeted and registered by some very nice camp hosts. On day 2 we decided to extend our stay and move from site #31 to site #29.
We had an awesome site on the water with opportunity for great sunsets, site #38. The sites are large with water and electricity and half price with American the Beautiful card at $13/night. Nature trails throughout this park but mostly just woods and no wildlife seen. Did not use bathhouse but free laundry a blessing.
Most every site has a beautiful view of Lake Eufaula. Site 45 has no shade, by the water, a short distance to the bathhouse, concrete pad with gravel. The sites are not groomed, the tables need new wood. Water and electric only. Eufaula is 10 minutes away for any needs you may have. Beware of alligators.
