Confirmed from Whitetail Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Whitetail Trail
We started at the entrance by Creekwood Park. To get to the paved trail would be a little tough for a stroller but not impossible I don't think. I would not recommend a wheelchair though. Getting back up the hill would be pretty hard in a wheelchair by yourself I'd think. The path is nice.
Love getting out and going down the trail, wether for a run or a walk or a bike ride. Nice place to take the kids out
Beautiful paved trails give you a view of a wide variety of fauna and wildlife (many trees are labeled). It’s great for a run, walking the dog, or a family outing. There’s a children’s playground and splash pad at the end of the trail on the Creekwood side. 👍🏼 Highly recommend!
This is an easy 2 mile walk both paved and boardwalk. I always think it is funny that they have a warning ALLIGATOR. Really only one gator in the swamp 😉
