Nice easy hike. About 1-1/2 hours to walk the entire loop (approx 4.4 mi) from the street. Once you get to the wooded trail around the Reservoir you can't hear I-91 anymore. Lots of streams flowing into the Reservoir and one big waterfall to the right (north) of Reservoir.
A beautiful loop through the woods, great for trail running or taking the kids out for a small bike ride or walk. There is a portajohn located fairly close to the parking area near I-91.
Under construction now so cars are not allowed to go inside the gate. Visitors can walk in most of the loop.
Great place to walk, hike or run...sorry no 4 legged friends allowed this is protected water.
