Started at Wild Rose trailhead (can start at the far end of the park or next to the restrooms) and continued to overlook Salt Lake Valley. The hike was peaceful and the views were grand. Quite a few mountain bikers on the trails.
We loved it and our three boys did great! We hike with friends and would love to go again. Kids played at the playground ground before and after and we picnicked at the pavilion!
Such a nice trail to walk! Beautiful views of the city and dog friendly. 🐕 Not all of the trail is shaded and it is rocky so be cautious to wear good shoes.
This is a beautiful trail that is very kid-friendly. The Wild Rose Loop is just under 2 miles with the option of a shortcut. About half of the trail has amazing views while the other half is lined with awesome Scrub Oak. Portions of this trail are shared with bikers, so hikers should be aware.
