Confirmed from Wilderness Glen's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Wilderness Glen

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (32 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“This place is so beautiful, no wonder it attracts triathletes from all over the world!”

I don't run into a lot of people. You can make the trail lengthy or short. I always feel like I'm not in the city when I'm here.

★★★★☆ — Janet , Jul 2019

It is a very nice walk that is away from the street once you get to Vista Del Lago. Haven't seen many people on it so its quite and it is mostly shaded with large trees so it is cooler.

★★★★★ — Joel , Oct 2021

Surprising slice of nature in the suburbs. I saw nobody here, so maybe don’t come alone? It was a nice walk with greenery and water.

★★★★★ — Ben , Mar 2026

Beautiful trails that make you feel like you're deep in a jungle...with some traffic noise lol

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking

“I don't know if they have a parking lot.”
