Confirmed from Serrano Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Serrano Park
“But there is a beautiful eucalyptus forest stretching the length of the park.”
“The trail’s lush canopy is fabulous as it provides plenty of shade on a warm sunny day!”
This is for Serrano Park in lake forest which seems to be all of the pictures depicted here. Very nice walking Park. It doesn't even feel like you are in California anymore with all the eucalyptus trees!
This is a very easy walking trail park that is uniquely marked by its numerous eucalyptus trees. It should be called “Eucalyptus Forest.” Even on a hot day, an early morning walk is excellent.
This is a local city park operated by the city of Lake Forest California. It is a rustic park it does offer playground equipment for the children, and picnic areas for your use. There is a stream running through the park and it is maintained in its natural state. There are no grassy areas.
My husband and I walked it today for the first time and loved it! The trail’s lush canopy is fabulous as it provides plenty of shade on a warm sunny day! The wild vegetation is abundant with different hues of green and speckled with color from the native wild flowers.
