Confirmed from Wilderness Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Compact neighborhood park featuring a playground, shaded walking paths & green space.
What runners say about Wilderness Park
“Very clean park; beside the slides, swings and monkey bars, it has several BBQ grills in very good shape, along with each grill there are aluminum table and benches.”
This park is amazing !!!!!! I love the animals that just be walking around like the Peacocks! Also if you just relax for a bit you can also see cute little wild cats running around. The mountain is nice to hike on as well
Nice little park but beware no bathrooms here. There are some missing lights and it could use a taking but it was nice. Park was empty and there is a walking path around the perimeter of the park. Becareful with kids as 2 sides of the park are busy streets.
Love this park! Its got great shade, good walking path and doesn't get too full. The play structure is brand new and there is plenty of grass to kick a ball around.
Trail conditions & character
“I have a bias because I designed the playground for the park but 4/5 due to no parking lot or bathrooms.”
