Confirmed from Wildflower Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wildflower Preserve
The wildflower preserve isn't a huge section of the park, but may be of interest to naturalists. It's a fenced preserve of native meadow and forest, excluding deer, with a goal of native plant restoration. Consider taking a walk with an eye for the different trees and undergrowth plants.
This area came up in a search of dog parks - dogs are not allowed - it is fenced off to keep out excessive deer with the hope that native plants some of which were planted will take over. It is not a flower display garden but does have trails to do an easy 15-20 minute loop in the woods.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
