We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Wildwood Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wildwood Park
“Birdsongs, deer, green woods, rock formations, white clouds, blue sky, picturesque Cypress Creek, and sweet solitude - a perfect start for the day 🙃”
This review is on the Wildwood Park Hiking Trail. This trail starts at the southeast end of the picnic area. This trial is not marked with “blazes” like Sipsey or the Appalachian Trail.
Went here with a buddy and his 7 year old that's new on bikes. We had a blast. His kid did a great job on the easier trails. They are currently in the process of resurfacing and rebuilding them. They had some old jumps there that were fun to play on and ride over.
Nice little place to take the family for hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and even cooling off and swimming in the creek. Its beautiful scenery and doesn't cost a penny.
Just went for a quick look and it's a really good looking park. Decent trails
Trail conditions & character
“The trails were generally maintained and in good condition, However, do be careful on the short stretch of bootpath on the South-side - it was narrow, loosy and steep drop.”
