Confirmed from Windlands Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
55-acre community park with 13 soccer & 4 baseball fields, jogging path, pavilions & picnic tables.
What runners say about Windlands Park
Went on a walk today, didn't know Midland had a walking park. It was nice and I would go again.
Beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors. There are walking paths that have exercise stations along the trail. Lots of open grassy areas. And disk golf.
Make sure to clean the stickers off your shoes before you go in your home. It has disk golf and walking trails with some workout stations
I like to go late in the evening, and take my dogs, so they can run free for a little bit. I live in a duplex patio townhouse with very little yard which means there's not enough room to run. They're house dogs, too, so they need a little bit of run time; esp.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
