Confirmed from Windwood Hollow Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (204 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 12 mentions

“The park was exceptionally well-maintained, and the restroom facilities were spotlessly clean.”

🌳 shaded & cool 5 mentions

“Nicely shaded area for relaxing, exercise and enjoying nature.”

I love this park- it’s always much less crowded than brook run and really well kept. the little trail in the back is amazing!

★★★★★ — Juan , Nov 2023

Lovely little playground. Shaded in the middle of the day! New and well maintained equipment: wheelchair accessible! Soft rubber mat and varied equipment made it great for a late summer excursion. Workout circuit surrounds the playground, so bring your workout gear!

★★★★☆ — Shana , Sep 2019

The children can play in the middle of a circle sidewalk path. On the path, there are stationary exercise tools with photos to show you what to do for that particular exercise. Although a small park, the children loved it. Children 3 to 12 will easily enjoy this park. They do have bathrooms and tennis park on the side.

★★★★★ — Gypsi , Feb 2021

This park is fairly clean and has many areas for all ages. There is also an easy path to walk on in the woods. They have tennis courts as well. Parking is easy. The bathrooms were open, clean, and had soap, toilet paper, and paper towels! The water fountains are on and felt clean as well. Great park!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“However, there’s only one downside: the parking lot is quite small, and street parking is also limited because the park is situated in a residential neighborhood.”
