Confirmed from Wolf River Nature Area (East)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

With the newest section to the south, this trail starts at Work River Blvd and Farmington and goes all the way to the Greenline. Very nice easy ride that's mostly shaded.

Beautiful trail, of you kookiness for a place to jog or ride your bake? This is the place. The River it’s perfect for any activities. It’s has a little beach area for your kids to play.

★★★★★ — Teri , Mar 2022

Beautiful, mostly shaded paved trails for walking, biking, jogging, or inline skates. Some additional dirt trails for deeper nature hikes. I can go from here to Cameron Brown Park or connect all the way to Shelby Farms!! With a Chick fill a in between!!

★★★★★ — Vicki , Aug 2017

Good, shaded trails connect to Cameron Brown park and follow the Wild River. Good for an easy walk or bike with the family. The trail is paved, but there are undeveloped trails in the woods that branch off the main trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
